Submissions

we are currently reviewing submissions, if you feel your work fits in with what we have shown and are interested in showing it to us, contact us and we will respond at our earliest convenience. Please do not be offended nor discouraged if you do not hear from us as we have a high volume of submissions.

Submission Policy and Guidelines  Carmin Wong Gallery has an open submission policy, accepting work year round.  We encourage artists to submit work based on upcoming exhibition themes though you may also submit work to the gallery as a general submission. 

With your submission, please include your brief resume, artist statement, cover letter, and artwork detail list (including title, medium, dimensions, and artist’s compensation expected for of each piece submitted) with up to 20 images for a small curation fee of $35

Please write which show you are submitting for on the envelope and include a $35 check for the curation fee.

If your work is a good fit for the gallery, we will contact you directly.  We review our general submissions approximately every 2-3 months.  Artists chosen for exhibition will be notified no later than one month before each exhibition begins.

Submission Troubleshooting

Please make sure you have the latest version of Flash installed on your computer.

Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer are the best web browsers to use with this submission system.

Before uploading your work, please make sure to follow the following file upload guidelines:

Artist Materials

Please use text only files.  

Word docs are preferable.  

Total file size for all artist materials must not exceed 2 MB.

Images

File Formats: .jpg, .gif or .png

File dimensions must not exceed 600 pixels W x 600 pixels H.

Individual File size must not exceed 2MB.

Name the file the title of your image, for example "imagetitle.jpg".

Submission requirements:

• Artist statement
• Resumé (exhibition history, occupation, etc.)
• JPEG images with the medium and size of the work
• Web site address (preferred but not required)
